Which printing method should I choose for my fabric and products?

It depends on the fabric and the order profile. DTF transfers suit mixed fabrics (cotton, polyester, nylon, blends), logos and fast changeovers. DTG suits premium cotton and cotton-rich garments with a soft hand-feel. Roll-to-roll (R2R) direct-to-fabric suits continuous fabric at scale (apparel cloth, silk, home textiles). What's the difference between DTF and DTG, and which is more profitable?

DTF prints CMYK + White onto a film that is then powdered, cured and heat-pressed onto almost any fabric, giving a durable, consistent transfer for mixed orders. DTG prints ink directly into cotton fibres for the softest hand-feel on premium garments. DTF usually wins on fabric flexibility and bulk uniforms; DTG wins on premium cotton and photo gradients. How much ink does a print use, and what does it cost to run?

For garment transfers, DTF typically uses about 1.5 to 3 ml of colour plus white per design depending on coverage; DTG lights use CMYK only while darks add a white underbase and use more. Running cost also depends on film, powder, garments, labour and electricity. We can run a coverage test on your artwork and share an ROI sheet before you buy.

Does DTG or dark-fabric printing require garment pretreatment?

Yes. Dark and cotton garments normally need an even pretreatment layer before DTG so the white underbase stays on the surface rather than sinking into the fibre. Pretreatment, drying and curing settings should be qualified with your exact garment and ink set before production. DTF transfers do not need garment pretreatment.

What is HyCIRC™?

HyCIRC™ is the self-developed white-ink circulation system used on the HY-702 60cm DTF printer. It keeps white ink moving through the line to reduce sedimentation and clogging during idle periods - the most common failure mode on high-white-coverage DTF work.

What daily maintenance does a textile printer need?

A typical daily routine is a nozzle check, a light head cleaning, a capping-station wipe and white-ink agitation, roughly 10 to 20 minutes. White ink settles fastest, which is why our machines use white-ink circulation to reduce sedimentation during idle periods. Every machine ships with step-by-step SOP videos.

What room environment do I need for stable production?

Use the operating range in the selected machine's datasheet rather than a site-wide number. For example, the HY-4050 sheet recommends 15–25 °C and 40–60% RH. Keep any print area clean and away from dust, direct sunlight and strong airflow.

Can your machines run 8 to 12 hours a day for mass production?

Shift suitability depends on the selected model, ink, room conditions, maintenance plan and complete-line bottleneck. We validate the printer and finishing route against the buyer's target shift before presenting a production recommendation.

How fast can these printers print?

The current published H-Series maximum is 650 m²/h at 2-pass. This is a reference value; comparable sellable output depends on model, resolution, coverage, fabric, ink, feathering and room conditions.

What is included in a complete production line, and do you offer OEM/ODM?

A complete line is more than the printer: hardware, dryer or shaker where relevant, RIP software, ICC profiles, operator training and, for DTG, pretreatment and curing equipment.
